Argosy is an for-profit school that offers a 2 year Associates of Science degree in Radiation Therapy. There are 2 different tracks for attaining the degree. Track 1 can be taken by anyone with an GED or high school diploma. This program can be completed in under 28 months up to 42 that includes professional classes and general education. Track 2 requires students to carry an AAS in radiological technology program and can be completed in under 20 months if all general education courses were completed.

MSHS offers a 12 month certificate of completion in Radiation Therapy for individuals that have already completed an accredited program in radiography. Unlike many radiation cert programs, you do not need to hold an certificate from ARRT for Radiography. You will need to complete basic prerequisites including English composition, speech, college algebra, and anatomy which are typically part of graduation requirements for all or almost all of the Radiography programs in the US.

While attending the program, students will spend on average 15-20 hours a week in the classroom and rest on rotations between various clinical locations in Manktao, Albert Lea, and Lacrosse. While students are responsible for their own transportation, the school will offer video conferencing for the didactic portion.

Students can not transfer credits from other Radiation Therapy program regardless of accreditation.

The program is accredited by JRCERT, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Higher Learning Commission.

The cert program offered is only available for students that have a minimum of an AS degree from a JRCERT accredited Radiography program. Students are required to have either completed and passed the JRCERT exam or will complete it by the end of October during the first semester of the program.

All applicants must complete all required prerequisites listed on the admissions page. If it has been more than 7 years since graduating from the radiography program, then applicants are recommended to take some college-level course in algebra, trigonometry, physics I or II, and anatomy to improve competitive standing.

Students will rotate every 4 to 8 weeks to accumulate more than 1,100 clinical training hours. Students will gain experience in:
